In 2008, Cat and Sensei George came together to establish the Shoto Karate Australia Club. Their dedication to the art of karate and their shared vision of creating a club that upholds the highest standards of dignity and respect led them to embark on this journey. From the very beginning, they understood the importance of fostering a close-knit community within the club. They believed that by treating the club as a family, with strong bonds between Sensei, Udansha, parents, and students, they could create an environment where everyone feels supported and valued. This commitment to maintaining a close relationship has been a cornerstone of the club's success, allowing students to flourish and grow both as martial artists and as individuals.
Had my first night there tonight it was awesome killed me but so worth it. people took time out to show me the very basic things witch was great. looking forward to going back on Thursday for more thanks guys
The passion and professionalism shown from Shoto Karate during our 7 years, has been nothing short of incredible. We are so fortunate to be a part of a club that treats its members as family, and we feel that each time we step into the dojo. It is extremely evident the dedication and love each of the Sensai’s and Sempai’s have for teaching. The success of their students is a testament to this. During our time with the club, our daughter has established strong relationships with each of the Sensai’s and Sempai’s, and developed self confidence and the ability to defend herself should she need. We would recommend Shoto Karate to anyone and everyone.
Those who run the club are all amazing. They make u feel welcome and part of the Karate family.
